What is LEO capable of?
- For the first time, LEO performs assembly, rework and testing throughout the manufacturing area as a complete CSP solution.
- LEO offers with the assembly assistance software IPM PG everything that is expected from an assembly station.
- LEO can be used to connect and control tools as well as to guide employees through the manufacturing process.
- All processes are visualized and all fastening processes are automatically documented.
How does LEO work?
If, for example, a torque tool is connected to the Flexible tool station, important information on the tightening process can be displayed via IPM PG, such as the torque with which a bolt must be tightened. This ensures that production steps will be executed properly and, in the end, a safe bolted connection has been created. The tools can also be parameterized from the software and thus managed centrally. Employees in production will be instructed step by step through the assembly assistance system with on-screen instructions for all production processes.
