Manufacturing OS 26.6 - Feature Release

Written by CSP Group | 27.7.2026

Following version 26.5, the next step is here: CSP Manufacturing OS is now available in version 26.6. This release introduces a completely new module to the platform and expands PGX and QST with numerous IoT integrations. Here's an overview of all the new features.

The Highlight: SKILL (SKL)

SKILL is the newest addition to the Manufacturing OS.
Short instructional videos and PDF documents are transformed into structured, AI-generated training courses, including automatic translations and transcripts. Especially in times of skilled labor shortages and knowledge loss due to retirement, it's becoming increasingly important to make expertise available quickly, consistently, and permanently.

SKILL helps capture valuable experiential knowledge from the shop floor and transform it into a digital, scalable knowledge base. For shop floor teams and trainers who want to train new employees or efficiently roll out process changes.

  • Faster onboarding: New employees reach productivity much more quickly

  • Preserving knowledge for the long term: Practical knowledge remains within the company, even as employees retire

  • Consistent training: All employees learn the same processes according to a clear standard

  • Scalable deployment: Once created, content can be reused across locations

  • Available in multiple languages: Automatic translations facilitate use in international teams

Major New Features in Version 26.6

PGX: Seven New Workflow Nodes

Seven new nodes expand the low-code editor with ready-to-use building blocks such as conditional logic, data queries, notifications, and system integrations that can be seamlessly integrated into existing work plans. This enables process designers and production planners to model more process variants without the need for custom development, set up escalation logic, and use standardized building blocks across all work plans.

PGX: Stahlwille with Complete Curves

PGX now records tightening results from Stahlwille tools via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or radio, including complete torque and angle curves, and saves them for each component. This ensures that every safety-critical bolted joint is documented with its complete curve, audited, and can be analyzed to determine the root cause.

PGX: Multilingual Content

PGX now makes user-defined content available in multiple languages. Labels, instructions, and custom fields can be maintained in multiple languages, while AI automatically generates the translations. This allows every user to work in their own language without having to manually maintain content multiple times. For international teams, this means greater accessibility, consistent content across all languages, and faster global rollouts with a centralized configuration.

PGX: Bill of Materials and Guided Picking

PGX now brings bills of materials and guided picking to the web application as well. Required parts are displayed for each work step along with their storage location and can be confirmed as picked directly. This makes material provisioning more transparent, reduces picking errors, and makes working with bills of materials significantly easier.

QST: Direct Communication with Testing Devices

QST now communicates directly with testing equipment: scheduled tests are sent from QST to available devices, and the recorded results are automatically returned for evaluation. This provides the entire quality department with a clear process for assigning tests and centrally evaluating results, with planning, dispatch, and analysis all in one place.

QST: Integration of Tool and Process Test Equipment

QST directly integrates tool testing and calibration devices such as FTY, CaliTest, CerTest, STBench, BLM, InspectPro, and DataTouch, as well as process testing devices such as Freedom 3, Freedom 4, Quantec, STRWrench, and STWrench. Calibration and test results are automatically recorded, eliminating the need for manual data entry and reducing errors.

QST: Dashboard Integration

QST results are now fed into configurable dashboards, bringing together test status, trends, and key quality metrics in a real-time visual overview. Quality managers and team leaders can see quality performance at a glance, identify trends and outliers early, and make data-driven decisions faster.

Additional New Features

PGX

  • Job Start via URL: Start production jobs directly via a link or scan; the correct job is automatically loaded with the appropriate context.

  • Tool Agent CSV Integration: The Tool Agent now imports tool and result data via CSV, without the need for a dedicated interface.

The Next Step in Smart Manufacturing

With Version 26.6, the Manufacturing OS continues to grow: The new SKILL module expands the platform with a standalone product for the first time since its launch, while the numerous device integrations in PGX and QST pave the way for fully connected manufacturing. Whether you're working in an existing environment or just getting started with the Manufacturing OS, version 26.6 shows where the platform is headed.
